Project:Weed Residence

Description: Zuiderweg Construction L.L.C. was hired to design and build the plumbing and gas piping for a residence being constructed in Seattle, WA. Before the plumbing and gas piping were completed a dispute between the owner of the residence and Zuiderweg Construction L.L.C. occurred. Zuiderweg Construction L. L. C. elected to not complete the project as a result of the dispute. The residence owner hired another mechanical contractor who removed and replaced a substantial portion of the work completed by Zuiderweg Construction L. L. C. Zuiderweg Construction L. L. C. Owner Mr. Glen Andrews authorized Coles Consultants L. L. C. to review the work completed by Zuiderweg Construction L.L.C. and the other mechanical contractor. The other mechanical contractor alleged that the design of the plumbing and gas piping was incorrect and required removal and replacement. Coles Consultants L. L. C. professional opinion letter determined that although both Mechanical Constractors used a different design to achieve the same results both designs were tried and proven and therefore would perform equally.
